I bought these to replace the LED bulbs I installed in my wife's SUV last year, one of which started this one year has failed. Smaller LED chips are located closer to the halogen filament in a traditional lamp, allowing the reflector to emit the correct beam. The lamps are bright enough and emit glare-free light that only illuminates the road. The sealing ring prevented the bulb from being fully inserted into the lamp. I found that it could be installed by turning back the o-ring. One star deducted for poor packaging.
