This portable table has no equal. If you are looking for a large "lap table" check out this one. It's well built, surprisingly light and strong, with legs stretched out. The book stand is a pretty useful feature and even has retractable legs that allow it to stand on its own. It's best to work from a bed, and given the size, a couch requires you to face forward, not to the side. All in all excellent. Build quality and very comfortable. If you use it on a very "soft" sofa or if you are short, this table may seem too high for you. You may need to sit on a cushion to get the right height. If you are sitting on the floor with this table then it is perfect.
