I had not used anything other than Tom's unscented deodorant stick for at least 20 years prior to testing this product as I am allergic to artificial fragrances. The maker of this product claims to be scented with essential oils, which I often use with no problems. Since the smell of this deodorant did not bother me and the smell is pleasant, the use of essential oils seems to be a true statement. I haven't used a roll-on deodorant in at least 35 years. I find it odd that I have to remember to let it dry completely before I can get dressed, which is an issue I don't have to deal with when using stick deodorant. This product is prohibitively expensive compared to Tom's and personally not worth the extra cost to me.
