I was a bit disappointed when I first saw these plates. They were thinner than the ones I replaced and felt fragile. But as I twisted them a bit to test how strong they were, I noticed that while this material was flexible, it seemed more resistant to breakage. These panels are polycarbonate and my last ones were acrylic. I tested two materials and found that acrylic is 17 times more shatterproof and polycarbonate is 250 times more shatterproof than glass at a given thickness. Polycarbonate is also less prone to yellowing from sun exposure than acrylic, which is why I had to replace the others. All hardware is included and each panel is bubble wrapped and scratch free. The fit was accurate. Will definitely get these in the future if they last longer than the acrylic ones.
