This is a beautiful teak towel rail. It's multiple pieces, glued and milled to look like one solid piece, and they did a good job. If you plan on staining and a clear top coat, be aware that it has a waxy coating that will need to be removed. A very big problem is that the drilled holes are too small for the screw head to fit properly. The holes are not deep enough for a screw and therefore too short for this pole. In addition, the hole is too small for the wooden pins that cover the holes after assembly. My solution would be to make larger holes to accommodate the screw head and wooden pins. Also make the hole a little deeper to accommodate the length of the screws. Another option is to buy a longer screw with a smaller head, which may be easier for you, but you will have the problem that this hole is too small for the pin covering the hole. Much luck
