Up until now I've been playing with my mum's old set that she had as a kid so the new set was a whole new experience. The bristles are smooth leaving a nice even stroke and they are very precise allowing you to get the detail you want in your work and achieve visible precision from small to large strokes. The handles are easy to hold and as this is a full set of 12 the choice is yours. The brushes are easy to clean and I accidentally forgot to clean the big one and it has been sitting and fine for about a week. he cleaned up straight away. Anyway, the bristles don't discolor like my old ones. In general I am very happy with them. The price seems fair compared to other similar sets, which is why it gets a full 4 stars.
