Use it almost every day.
I use this vise almost every day. It's heavy, durable, and accurate enough for my needs. A little oil on the drive screw helped keep it running smoothly. The only other thing I did was drill and drive in a set screw for the handle to hold it firmly in place.

- The hand crank is 4 inches long and will lengthen if necessary.

- You could choose a newer model.
