Review on 4-Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Garmin Forerunner 935 [Anti-Scratch] [Bubble-Free] [2.5D 9H Hardness] by Diruite by Brian Inman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, exceptional value.

Full Disclosure: I was offered a free product in exchange for a 5-star review. This suggestion did not affect my final decision that the product deserved a 5 star rating. I would not have accepted this offer if I didn't think this product deserved 5 stars. I received all 4 protectors, wipes, wipes and instruction stickers nicely packaged. I've had screen protectors like this in the past and it's important to understand their purpose - to protect the screen. Yes, they scratch. Most importantly, your screen doesn't. I crashed my bike with a screen protector (not this product, another one I had before) and it was completely shattered. I can only imagine what the screen would look like without it. They're not as scratch resistant as a real Garmin screen, but at this price point, that's not going to happen. But the Garmin itself also scratches easily - I originally ordered screen protectors because I got a big scratch on mine without even realizing what caused it. With protectors, simply slip on a new one and you're done. Well worth buying 4 for only $7. They will be more reflective than the screen, yes, but it won't affect actual usage much. Once I got used to it, the reflection didn't really matter. They smudge and show fingerprints. Just like my real Garmin. In any case, you have to deal with it. This particular product has beautifully curved edges - nothing sharp. They're smooth to the touch and you won't even notice they're on the alert unless someone tells you they're not there. It's easy to put on and removes without leaving any residue when you want to replace it. Basically, you can always have a brand new screen. I wish I had had a protector when I first scratched my Garmin. I didn't and it's been bugging me ever since. If I hadn't had a screen protector when I was in my bike accident, most likely my watch would have been sent back to Garmin for a new screen at my expense - $100 and I would have been without the watch until it was fixed. A 4 means I can switch profiles if it doesn't look new anymore.
