Practical time saver and perfect cable length. Works as it should, easy to swap out if needed. BUT, use tape on the threads, I got a small drip of coolant out of the threads. the product description says it's not the connection, but the threads have nothing to do with the connection. The sensor tip sends continuity to the top post where the wire also connects and mine is now working fine with no leaks. UPDATE: 6/10/2020 - Looks like I'll have to change this thing. I had the built in Stat 160 installed but it got too hot at idle. So I changed it to 185 but the problem is this fan only kicks on at 185 so it won't cool the heatsink until the stat opens and allows water to flow through and I'm still too hot going to 195 stat will not help my MPG. So I'll take the camper for a road test on a hot day and try to sit in traffic here and there and see how things work with 185 stats built in. If I'm still idling I just flip the toggle switch on or jumper the relay together and stick a hot in my ignition switch. The fan turns on and off with the key and then I really hope I don't boil over after shutting off the engine, which it shouldn't, because that's how power-hungry clutch fans work properly! Sometimes the relay doesn't respond and if it continues I just switch everything.
