This small filter is useful because the vacuum cleaner will not work without it. I love the way Sebo makes their vacuum cleaners and that they won't work unless there are a few key components. In this case, this filter is simply necessary, otherwise you will not even be able to close the lid of the vacuum cleaner. Easy to assemble and this replacement part is great. I love that it's made of fabric that feels thicker than the original. I have had a vacuum for several years and have never replaced this part. But when I lent the vacuum cleaner to someone, they somehow damaged the filter. So I had to get this to get the vacuum cleaner working again. Overall a great replacement product.
