The problem with the iFixit tool kit is that they use S2 steel, a type of steel that easily cracks, breaks, bends, etc. I didn't know about this until I knew. don't research. . All the parts bent, broke, cracked, etc. and I couldn't understand why until I learned about the hardness properties of steel. When it comes to bits and the torque you sometimes have to apply with those bits, you don't want a bit made out of S2 steel. They advertise they use S2 steel like it's awesome! It is not. So I bought this kit a few years ago and have a few broken or bent parts. Look for a better set with heavier steel. Bits and tools should be made of hard steel, similar to that used in drill presses. The makers of this tool box probably thought that people would use this tool box for simple jobs, and in most cases they are, which is why most people are satisfied with this tool box. Personally, I use this set for anything that needs a lot. They break all the time, ligaments are torn or bent. I would not recommend this set until iFixit uses stronger bit steel. I've attached a photo of a few examples. That shouldn't happen with bits like this. I wasn't even using much torque/force when these problems started!
