Not suitable for home cinema ATMOS channels

I bought this device because my Marantz 7013 receiver didn't have enough built-in amplifiers for a 7.1.4 system. There is a preamp output for the top two speakers. I connected the inputs of the Pyle amp to these outputs on my Marantz. I connected a pair of 8 ohm ceiling speakers to the Pyle speaker jacks. Everything looked fine during calibration, but when I play content or a test signal, Pyle only plays audio for a few seconds and shuts off output to the speakers. I can turn Pyle off and on again and it will play again for a few seconds and then turn off the speakers. This happens regardless of the Auto-On setting. Setup is so easy I would expect any 2 channel AMP to work. I ended up with an old Yamaha amp with the exact same setup and it works great. Apart from the flaw described above, the amp seems to be well built and heavy, so it probably has a good power supply and transformer. I was looking for the simplest AMP with the fewest controls and features. Looked good out of the box, but unfortunately cannot offer the required basic functionality.
