I have a Nikon COOLPIX P900 and I took it to take wider shots. The lens has an excellent 2-in-1 macro and wide-angle capability that can be used by screwing it in half. The macro works well and the wide angle is good for medium to short shots. Only gave this 3 stars because P900 owners should be aware of a few things that aren't in the description. Move a little further back than the lens will allow. It's a little fiddly to toggle everything on and off for a quick shot in the field. * The super zoom that makes the P900 so attractive is mostly useless with the wide angle activated. You lose resolution about 3/4 of the way and it's a blurry haze at full distance. Otherwise it's a good lens at a good price. It's just a pity that I didn't know the restrictions associated with my particular camera when I bought it.
