The end brackets that attach this strip are cheap plastic. While the rest of the band is Metal and probably strong enough, the brackets are a deal breaker. In any case, I don't see these braces holding up a little bang on the strip over time. and you'll probably rip it right off the wall. If you don't plan to mount the strip, that might be fine. However, you don't get a good result as I just don't see these things sticking.
