I was very pleased when this item arrived. I was glad this light came with a bracket that attaches to the seat rails and not the seat post as I have a removable fender that attaches to the seat post and it was a little awkward to have two items attached to the seat post to have. I also loved the wireless remote as sometimes I would start my ride and forget to turn on my taillight and I hated having to release the pedals and stop to turn on the light. With that, if I forget, I could just use the remote control. Here is my problem with this light. You initiate a long press on the single button on the flashlight to turn it on. It turns on in hard mode. Press the button again and the light will switch to the flashing mode which I use. The first day I used this I installed it on my saddle. I charged it the night before. I turn on the light and set it to blink mode. Pretty bright and looks good. I run all the functions of the turn signals and everything works as it should. I run inside to get my coat and helmet. When I come back, the light is permanently on again. I press the button and it goes back to flashing mode. I'm going on a trip that lasts an hour and a half. When I get off the bike, the light is on all the time again. At this point I'm starting to worry a little, but I don't think it's anything serious. The situation was similar on my next trip, which lasted just over 2 hours. I turn on the light so it comes on, then go inside to get ready for the ride, which takes about 10 minutes. When I drove out, the light came on again. When I get home, the lights are completely off. Not ready to give up, I bring in the light and charge it up for the night. The next morning I drive two and a half hours and when I get home the lights are completely off again. Now I have come to my conclusion. This lamp is just junk. I can't recommend anyone to buy this.
