Not sure why I was asked to rate warmth and thickness in the review as this is a charger and it doesn't really apply. In terms of heat, it's the same as any charger we've had before, a bit warm but not very hot when plugged in. All I can really say is that I was skeptical about ordering this because I was concerned if it would work or not. be compatible with the computer, and it was compatible. It was a much cheaper option at Revain than elsewhere. I'm glad we got it.
