The biggest problem for me is that the cavity inside is not big enough to open the eye without the lashes opening meet the inner surface. I bought it for my eye to protect it after surgery after eye surgery. While it was excellent at blocking the light (and keeping me from putting my fingers in my eyes to rub them), I found it very difficult to use my good eye because your body wants both eyes open and moving at the same time. Every time my eyelash touched the inside, it would irritate my eye because it was very sensitive after the operation and I found it difficult to do anything with both eyes. The group held the eyepatch well, but it required constant attention and adjustment. Good if I just wanted to take a break, not so good if I had to do something else. I have fairly long lashes and they are still better than other options I've been able to find online. But there is room for improvement.
