Review on Ryzen 7 5700G: Unlocked 8-Core, πŸ–₯️ 16-Thread Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics by AMD by Richard Dean

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am so happy with this processor and its integrated GPU.

3840 x 2160 @ 120Hz with HDMI 2.1 port for Asus ProArt X570 Wifi motherboard and Gigabyte Aorus FI32U monitor. This is the maximum resolution and refresh rate for the device we tested. 3840*2160 @ 60Hz can be achieved at the same setting with the USB Type-C cable that comes with the monitor. Frame rates of 144Hz can be achieved from a monitor with DisplayPort 1.4 and 120Hz with HDMI 2.1 (not 144Hz with HDMI 2.1 as stated in Gigabyte's official manual, as in our tests with faster dedicated GPUs). The motherboard supports HDMI 2.1 without a DisplayPort output connector. So I'm wondering how high an integrated AMD Ryzen 5700G GPU can reach with different settings. 112 fps max, 110 fps avg is a statistical frame rate result using SuperTuxKart game on Linux Debian Sid with minimal 3D effects. However, an average of 11 frames per second was observed with maximum 3D effects. 112 fps is also the highest framerate the game can hit on other desktops with the high-end dedicated graphics cards and high-end processors we've tested. a CPU cooler mounting plate on the back of the motherboard and on the cooling fins is a silent CPU cooler with 6 heat pipes (actually 12) and two fans. So I am very happy with this processor (AMD Ryzen 5700G) and the integrated GPU. This changed how I felt about integrated GPUs. Before purchasing, I carefully researched the maximum resolution and refresh rate that the integrated GPU can support. But they found nothing. I was wondering why AMD didn't mention related data anywhere when it should be the main spec items clearly stated in their official documentation since Intel has done it well. a year of systematic research using information collected with electron microscopes. In fact, I've never bought an AMD processor for myself. So I took a chance and bought it to learn first-hand details about the CPU and the integrated GPU. Now the processor has really exceeded my expectations. I just want to kiss AMD, although we may find a typo in the official printed manual that came with the processor box. I hope AMD can release their official specs on their integrated GPUs with clearly stated resolutions and refresh rates. More customers will be satisfied with data already glowing.
