Not recommended for Raspberry Pi 4B - UAS issue

On a positive note, this included box works with all the different SSDs and HDDs I've used it with. Installing the drive can be a bit tricky as it needs to be tilted a bit when it is inserted into the case and it requires a bit of "peeking" to remove the drive to grab the drive to get it out of the SATA -connection can be pulled. .I'm a bit concerned that repeated bending of the SATA connector (required because the drive needs to be tilted during insertion/removal) may eventually cause damage. Haven't had any issues so far and this is probably only an issue when drives are installed/removed regularly. The main issue I found was using this case as a Raspberry Pi 4B boot drive. The system boots normally, but the dmesg command only shows the common name of the interface chip manufacturer AND shows that "UAS is blacklisted for this device, using a USB stick instead." Although the drive works , I'm sure the data transfer rate to the drive is not what it could be and the CPU usage is probably higher than necessary. When I first tried this case on a PC, it also didn't support UAS mode. However when I tried it another time it looked like it would support UAS - no idea what happens when this case is used on a PC. But even with UAS enabled, the speed of the ORICO case drive on my system is only about 87% of the speed achieved with the adapter cable mentioned below. If using on a PC I would recommend checking which driver is being used - uaspstor.sys seems to match. Due to an issue with UAS on my Raspberry Pi I bought a USB 3.0 => SATA adapter cable. The SSD that caused the ORICO fall issue is now supported in UAS mode. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell WHICH adapter cables/housings support UAS mode on the Raspberry Pi 4B!
