Good product suitable for HDD case

Easy to install SSD, solid construction. The SSD fits exactly. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was the color. I ordered white because it was cheaper but I would give 5 stars if it was black.

Pros
  • Great for small house
Cons
  • Useless features

As long as I like it! Fits hard drive accessories

Case works as advertised for me. Installing the drive was easy and my computer recognized it immediately. Only used once, let's see how long it lasts. I like the price so far.

Pros
  • Fits great for me
Cons
  • No insurance

What can I say, I didn't manage it, maybe it will work for you

Most likely it will work if you have the right connections. the connection cable has a Type-C connector which I did not see, I should have read the description better. I didn't return it, I bought a replacement with a stand USB output cable.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • For a long time

Easy to use HD enclosure to reuse 2.5 " drives

This enclosure is easy to use for my 2.5" drive. It simply snapped into the two halves of the case, no screws to loosen as it just popped off. A small indicator light shows when the drive is being accessed - great and easy for everyone to understand!

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Worked great for laptop hard drive cloning.

I bought this case to put an SSD drive in a laptop. I was able to clone my Dell laptop's original drive to an SSD, which in this case I temporarily installed. The 1TB drive clone took about 2 hours, which I thought was pretty fast. The cloning software was provided by the SSD manufacturer. I then removed the original laptop drive from the system and installed the cloned SSD into the laptop. The laptop booted up correctly, so the transfer was successful. I then put the original laptop drive in…

It works and looks great. But things fall apart too easily.

Like all my other Orico cases, this one does what it's supposed to do electronically. The sliding retaining tabs are short and if the lid is moved a short distance it just separates completely and falls off; There is no "latch" type bracket to hold the lid. Sometimes I pick it up and the angle of the lift pulls the lid off. It also breaks down when kept in a bag or backpack. Since I can't tell where the top is when I take it out of my laptop bag or bag, I often rip it off myself when I'm not…

  • Best
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Not recommended for Raspberry Pi 4B - UAS issue

On a positive note, this included box works with all the different SSDs and HDDs I've used it with. Installing the drive can be a bit tricky as it needs to be tilted a bit when it is inserted into the case and it requires a bit of "peeking" to remove the drive to grab the drive to get it out of the SATA -connection can be pulled. .I'm a bit concerned that repeated bending of the SATA connector (required because the drive needs to be tilted during insertion/removal) may eventually cause damage…

Pros
  • Quick swap
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
