Review on TechRise External Adapter Splitter Converter by Mike Sutherland

I recently found a professional-grade overhead microphone that plugs into a standard mini-plug (the same size as the typical headphone jack you find on most laptops and computers) for a very reasonable price. I connected this mic to my new MacBook Pro and found that EVERY sound was accurately recorded! With studio headphones the playback of the collected voice recording was perfect as ALL the little noises in the background that I didn't notice were there as clearly as possible. I took the picture very early on a Sunday morning, before anyone got up. The thin streams inside the house, which I never hear, were amazingly clear, the birds flew off in the distance outside, the windows and doors were closed, also amazingly captured in perfect rendering! So yes, I have a really good mic, but this adapter doesn't seem to pollute the resulting recording in the slightest! I am very pleased! My only concern was that the device felt a bit cheap, which left me feeling that I need to be very careful with it if I'm going to get any decent life out of it.
