I didn't know how to attach it at first. No instructions, just press two clips until you hear it click and it's almost permanent on your controller. Not sure how you take it off, or is it removable, but why would you want to take it off? I can put the controller in the PS4 case and it folds up nicely so you can just leave it on the controller and put it in the PS4 controller case. By the way, I use my iPhone 7 plus with Nuud Rescue Case. Which makes it pretty cumbersome. I would definitely recommend it! Of course, you can only connect your iPhone to the PS4 controller through the jailbreak settings.
