BOUGHT THIS FOR MY WISTLER WS1088 POLICE SCANNER. WORKS PERFECTLY ! I used an adapter to connect a tiny micro card to my dell computer which is outdated and doesn't have a micro sd card slot. However, the ADAPTER fits my computer perfectly and allows me to program this microcard for my "police" scanner. The Whistler software is great and with this card and adapter I was able to transfer all of my scanner's programs and frequencies to the tiny card INCREDIBLY FAST. NEAR INSTANT DATA TRANSFER AT LITERAL HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF FREQUENCIES for ordinary things. Police, ambulance, fire brigade, etc. plus a reference library for all frequencies throughout the United States! It is transferred to the microcard in a matter of seconds. Most people don't seem to use this for scanners BUT if you are looking for an AWESOME computer adapter micro card this is PERFECT AND SUPER FAST! VERY SATISFIED WITH PRODUCT PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY. BUY ONE AND YOU WILL LOVE IT. Easy to use. Very nicely packaged. Only two issues, but none of them are very important for my use case. There is a speed rating. WHO KNOWS ?
