I am correcting my rating from 1 star to June 2, 2019: I really liked the shaver at first. It worked well for a few months although the metal wasn't as smooth against my skin as the Norelco razors I've used in the past, but it shaved cleanly and I liked that it uses USB. reload. Regularly cleaned so far so good. Then he started making noises while shaving (grinding). From time to time, well, I'll live with that. I cleaned and oiled it again. Finally, I wanted to take the shaving head apart to clean the individual parts. I opened the shaving head and it "exploded" into all parts (combs, knives, spring compressor, shaving head). It's ok, how difficult is it to assemble? I've been doing this with Norelco and other brands for decades. Well, I can't put it all back together. No matter how skillfully I put the combs and knives back into place, I can't get the spring compressor to engage. The ridges have no control points, no grooves that snap. I've tried a dozen times and every time I can't turn the razor head. Something isn't right and I can't figure out what it is. I'll take another chance. I cut my losses and ordered Norelco for not much more money. I would not recommend this razor to anyone used to higher quality, more established brands. I took a risk and lost.
