I bought this little router to act as a WiFi bridge to replace a D-Link router with DD-WRT flash that failed after a few years. Extremely customizable - this little router can do everything from providing basic Wi-Fi hotspot functionality for your home to advanced routing, VPN and more. - Techie. I only ran into one problem when trying to set it up as a WiFi bridge to connect multiple wired devices to my wireless network - I had to set the WiFi interface to station pseudo bridge clone mode in order for that to work it works DD-WRT because it connected to an access point without RouterOS. It wasn't obvious and it took me some reading to figure it out. But overall, I liked hAP Lite so much that I replaced my access point with an RB951G-2HnD, which allowed me to set hAP Lite's Wi-Fi interface to bridge station mode, making everything like expected works. By the way, hAP Lite is very low power. You can power it from almost any 5V micro USB power adapter and it draws around 3W when on.
