Aside from the lack of a motion sensor, which wasn't a problem for me, the buttons and analog sticks just don't work right in certain games. I had a copy of the Silent Hill HD Collection loaded into my PS3 when I first plugged this controller in and none of the inputs worked properly. The D-Pad just scrolled randomly through the menus and the joystick made James take short, stuttering steps instead of just walking. At first I thought I had a broken gamepad, but when I logged out of SH and loaded another game, everything worked exactly as it should. When I googled this problem I found that some games have this problem and no one has ever fixed it. Is the game you want to play compatible? Who knows. Better do your research before you buy this controller.
