I'll get right to the point. Replaced the ASUS AC1800 router with this one. Here are the differences. AC1800: 2.4 GHz - 50 Mbit/s 5.0 GHz - 150 Mbit/s 2.4 Covered the whole house and part of the garden. 5 did not cover the whole house. House of 2700 sqm. Feet ranch style. Netgear AX1800 Mesh: Provided an image of a connection near the main router (over 300Mbps) and on the edge of my 1/2 acre property (around 20Mbps). This test was done using Fing Box on my network and phone. Setup was quick and easy, no problems. Ability to easily configure advanced settings via a web browser. At the moment, the connection does not break even with many IoT devices that were previously at the edge of the range of the previous router. My only downside is that the guest network doesn't seem to broadcast that far, leading me to believe it only goes through the router. no satellite. Annoying but not critical. Note. Using a Cox 300/30 cable with a Nighthawk CM1200 modem. Wired connections run at rated speed through a small managed NETGEAR switch. Hope that helps. If I encounter any noticeable problems I will update this.
