Review on Spoilboard Router Bit Carbide NITOMAK by Mark Callaham

If your router can handle it, buy it

Works like a dream with my router carriage. I used to use 2" HHS bits to level the panels and if you're thinking of upgrading, just do it. It's day and night how much better it works. The edge retention is excellent. I've flattened the panels 3 times, my HHS router could cut both long and end grain without burning and I haven't even rotated the routers. No breakage and only the weight of the drill allows it to go through the cut without straining my router. The only issue I have is that the bit will not fully retract into my Bosch router due to a locking mechanism on the faceplate that allows the template guides to snap into place. This means I have to clumsily set the bit when the router is half-submerged.
