judging from all the positive reviews here I must be an exception. I wanted to like the product, but the manufacturer themselves told me (see my question in category iii) that it would work with the make and model of Samsung TV that I bought at the same time. The directions were a waste of time; The charts looked like they had been drawn by a four-year-old with a bit of text. I couldn't tell how the brackets/screws lined up. I collect furniture all the time. Anyway, I was able to assemble the tripod, but as for the mount, it didn't even come close to fitting the back of the TV. I tried several times to set the brackets but it didn't even come close. There are two slots on the bottom of the TV (for its own mounting feet) which could not be used to install this unit. I don't understand how the manufacturer of this product can mislead the buyer. I wasted an hour of my evening assembling and disassembling the tripod. Needless to say he'll be back tomorrow and I'll grab a standard TV stand. If you are thinking about buying this, be careful as you may not be able to know which TV it is compatible with.
