I have 3B medium length fine curly hair so a t-shirt is essential as even microfiber towels get caught on the ends. I came across this in WM a few years ago and still haven't found it again. When my hair is wet, I gently wring the water out of the ends so they don't get wet. Then I bend over and do a gentle twist of the hair so the ends rest against the scalp, then wrap it around the head (not the hair) and twist it once, then cover the scalp a second time - it stays simple. For me this is normal and I can leave it on for about 10 minutes until my hair is barely damp. Then I apply leave-in conditioner, skin serum and some hairspray and that's it. Since my hair is naturally dry and thin, it air dries in 20 minutes. It made a huge difference with my split ends and frizz.
