The pen fell apart after a week of use

Don't get me wrong, it's a lot better than non-plastic tipped pens. However, I am very disappointed with how much damage the pen has already done after a week (used on the left, new on the right). The nibs may look similar, but the nib is completely flattened and only writes in an awkward hand position, further damaging the nib. It doesn't usually bother me, but I wrote so recklessly trying to save her and here we are again. For a college student they were quite expensive because they last so long so I'll look elsewhere next time.
