What a disappointment. I don't understand why they have so many rave reviews. A salt shaker cannot contain salt, no matter the size. It only pours from below. I took it apart and reassembled it and checked the alignment of the moving parts. It helped a little. Then, about three months later, the pepper mill began to fail. It was not necessary to calculate with the standard grind size. Big chunks, crumbly chunks, everything falls out. Peppercorns are stuck in the coffee grinder. I had to open it all the time, gently pull out the stuck corns, put the corns back in, close the lid. Repetition. Repetition. Now it doesn't grind at all. Say goodbye to $20.
