I connected this head unit to an aftermarket amplifier/system. It simply connects to my Android phone or one of the passengers. This is a plus because it's easy. I am very happy with this purchase. A few notes: * It's not very loud if you're planning on replacing a factory unamplified head unit. If you route it to an amplifier it's pretty clear. There's no noise-to-sound hum. 👌🏽 * He's kinda smart. Not dazzling, but clearly noticeable. If you're one of those drivers who hate the interior lights when driving at night, maybe you should consider another device? It's easy and the end results were "good or better". It wasn't a problem, but it was a bit unusual. 🤷🏽‍♂️*There is no file system for selecting tracks on the USB with flash drive function. I've plugged in a 32 gig flash drive and I doubt I'll be listening to the songs at the bottom of the list. 😂. I mean, personally I don't care. I usually use Soundcloud, Mixcloud and Tidal and they all work flawlessly. ❤️ In general a great purchase, inexpensive and easy. "Simplicity is genius."
