What excites me the most is a printer that works with the ink that comes in the box (which is a selling feature since it comes with ink when you buy it ) they *require* to subscribe to their automatic ink replacement program, Instant Ink. It's literally the only way to complete printer setup. If you cancel for any reason, including canceling your free trial, they literally deprive you of the ability to print with the cartridges that came with them, even if you've already paid for them. as part of the printer purchase. If you decide to print again, you will need to install "store-bought cartridges" because the cartridges you already have are disabled. I needed the printer for a 50 page print job and then to scan and make digital copies of that job. I figured the ink would last quite a while so I could easily cover any other print jobs that came up later. To print anything later I am not allowed to print even though I have a 100% full color cartridge and an 80% black cartridge. This seems incredibly wasteful and is definitely a hit on HP's part. It doesn't matter how good a printer is if you literally can't print anything.
