Failed to load media. That does what I want. I needed lace holes on several dozen bags so I wanted something durable, fairly light and fast. I've used bushings many times in the past and found them to be a 'random' option, but when I find myself making mistakes trying to rush - parts don't align properly or don't have an equal/good one to exert pressure. I worked with 4-6 layers of cotton and punching was a problem at first. I even tried piercing the skin (didn't work). After a few tries I devised a method that allowed me to land punches with near perfect success - all I had to do was cut the punched circles in 3 out of 72 punches. I uploaded a video of my method - I put on a glove for a little extra protection and used a foam rubber gizmo (a furniture pusher, mouse pad, or oven mitt would actually work) to protect the countertop. Both are optional.
