Review on Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM Lens by Dorota Struszewska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

The lens's quality can't be denied; it's already quite sharp wide open and improves little with some shading. An optimal choice in terms of size and portability. When deciding between this and the 300 4.0 IS L, I thought the 100 mm would come in handy more often. Benefits from: Excellent clarity throughout the shot. Nothing beats the competition for the price. Specs for a 400 mm lens. The ring that controls the focus may be turned quickly and precisely, just like on high-end lenses. The lens hood's sophisticated ergonomics allow it to revolve in tandem with the focus ring when folded. The modest diameter at the base makes it comfortable to hold. Have disadvantages: The stub is insufficient; it is tough to remove it from the crop's hands. 5.6 - dark.

Different pros: for example, when the lens hood is folded, when you turn the focus ring, due to the small diameter at the base. Cons: The stub is really not enough, it’ - dark.
