Kong collar is better but more expensive. The color is NOT the beautiful bright blue I was hoping for! It's not exactly dark blue. It's just an awful blue. One thing that is superior to the Kong collar is that the padding extends further than the shoulder straps. The straps on this collar are even and can rub against my boy's neck. Aside from the metal buckle, the collar does not have the same "weight" as the Kong collar. For the price I'll leave it on and see how it lasts a year or so. We've had the Kong collar for almost nine years and it's still very functional (just looking a bit tired now).
