I was very happy about this toe ring. When I pulled it out and placed it on the sock, it didn't quite turn over. I was hoping that whichever toe I put the ends on would touch, it just wouldn't happen, so I was a little frustrated at first. After trying each finger I decided to just put one on and leave a gap between the edges and see if everything would be ok. Well, that's pretty normal. No pinching or anything like that. So the other problem is that despite the good breadth, you can't really tell the difference between gold and silver when you stand and look down. No wonder, that's what I assumed. So I took off a star because I think the overall length should be a bit longer for the price. I can't comment on color change or fading as I just bought it and will update my review if that is the case.
