Not used as a consumer video monitor HDMI
I think quite a bit has been written about this monitor other than that it can be used as a TV or video monitor. Although (too) often stated otherwise, this is not 1920x1080, but 1080x1920. Is it important? Yes, unfortunately! For example camcorders, televisions,. There is no configuration file to change the output orientation. So in those cases, the ad is just garbage. Until recently, the Waveshare wiki showed incorrect information.
