I received these after Honeywell upgraded the filters with a blue layer on the outside resulting in lower absorbency and MUCH shorter life ( 1 week max versus about a month ) and couldn't be happier. The cost is a fraction of what I would normally pay for the original Honeywell filter and as far as I can tell they are exactly the same if not better. re-moisten two and once or twice a week to make sure it's fully soaked (had to re-moisten the blue signatures up to twice a day as the top half would dry out). Since this is an evaporative humidifier that cannot oversaturate the air in a room, the best measure of performance for me is the amount of water flowing out of the tank at the end of each day. With the current brand filters, the tank was on average 60-70 percent full in the evening when filling up. These filters consistently leave the tank about 20% empty, confirming that they are much better at handling humidity and humidity. from the original. Being 3 packs for less than 2 current brands makes it a no brainer and I will continue to buy in the future.
