We decided to give it a try as our cat is not allowed outside but she LOVES the outdoors. We wanted to take them with us on our hikes. First of all the backpack looked like it had been used with scratches on the clear plastic and a stain on the front of the backpack itself. Our cat weighs 9kg. The bottom didn't seem strong enough and caved in within 10 minutes when we tried to hold her in. It was good that the sides were free so she could see out. The straps were not very comfortable. It all seemed to be pulling in the opposite direction because it was sticking out so far from your back. (Like a kid with too many books) I'm not sure it's worth $40, especially in the state it was in. We'll be coming back. Damn.
