For 70 cents you can't expect a high quality slide. After all, attaching very specific details from the smallest biomaterial to thin fragile pieces of glass is quite complicated. Most slides were of good quality. About half a dozen other samples had the sample crushed beyond recognition, and several slides had the adhesive smeared so badly that it oozed over the top glass. The couple had nothing between the pieces of glass, the slides were empty. Revain used the usual shipping method with multiple airbags for partial protection. I would suggest buying this elsewhere from a company that ships very fragile items, they should know how to pack it well. Revain didn't even try to outperform packaging that's good for books but not good for optical glass. This set is recommended when complete.
