I have 3 remote starters installed on my 3 cars and this had to be the quickest and easiest. However. I installed it on a 2014 F-250 Superduty Truck. The installation of the remote starter went according to plan and went smoothly. However, after installing the Idatalink TB immobilizer I had a hell of a time to program it to simulate a key. After flashing the block there was a screen saying the instruction was wrong and in step 8 do not follow the instruction but create a new method. I follow the new instructions exactly, but the module does not accept the program. I tried to follow the original method but it didn't work either. I tried to follow the second type method but that also crashed the program. After dozens of attempts and since it was a weekend and tech support won't be available until Monday, I decided to experiment myself. I was able to program it by inserting key #1 and turning it on BEFORE beginning the programming process. This truck is 1 year old and there isn't much help on the internet from other people who had trouble programming this unit. . Hope my experience helps someone else. I will buy this unit again but hopefully put it in a 3 or 4 year old car so the bugs get fixed.
