This is another great red lipstick that I have recently purchased and am very happy with. I have blue eyes, blonde hair and a light/medium skin tone and this shade suits my complexion really well. It's a little darker than a true Hollywood red. It's not a wine color or a fiery orange-tinged red - it's just a classic bright red. It applies evenly and easily, with high pigmentation. Like any highly pigmented lipstick, it needs to be applied carefully to avoid smudging or discoloring the lips. The lipstick isn't matte, but it's not shiny either. It's slightly shiny so doesn't look like gloss. It has a faint pleasant odor, similar to vanilla. When using red lipstick, it's very important to use a lip liner to make your lips look defined and not like you've smeared red popsicles all over your face.
