This is a great little Bluetooth scan tool that provides a true system diagnosis for all European, Asian and domestic vehicles from 1996 to present. As I'm sure you already know, most of these Bluetooth devices can usually only access a limited number of modules, and even those that claim full system coverage often only do so on a select few makes and models, not all. There are no exceptions or exclusions with XTool, which was a huge plus for me. All brands, all models, all modules! Its small form factor (the same size as a credit card) also makes it ideal for stowing in your glove box or taking with you wherever you go. Setup was easy and it only takes a few seconds to pair before using. The device is also fast when it comes to data queries and diagnostic functions. In fact, I've found it reads and erases codes faster than some dedicated scanning tools that cost twice as much! The corresponding XTool app is free, and while nothing fancy, it gets the job done. I personally prefer it this way as most other OBD related applications are too cluttered, complicated and unwieldy to use. Another useful feature of this device is the built-in LED indicator that will help you locate the OBD port or anything else you might need a light for. It also has a built-in digital battery voltage indicator. Plug it in and you can instantly see the car's current voltage on the device itself. You also get a high quality OBD extension cable in the kit, making it easy and convenient to use the tool in tight or awkward places. If you're looking for a super portable, highly informative scan tool that won't break the bank, then look no further.
