I had to order two of these because the first arrived with a broken clip - Revain customer service was great and sent a replacement free of charge. After storing the documents in the spare vault for several weeks, I went to get them and found that some of them were damp. To confirm my suspicions, I removed the items and replaced them with blank paper and an unsealed envelope; I left it for 2 months and when I came back I found the paper was soaked with water and the envelope was sealed! Really lots of moisture. I would like to return it, but unfortunately the return/replacement period has expired. Despite the price and brand name, I would advise against this purchase for customers looking for a fireproof safe. Check out other low star reviews to see how moisture can get in and ruin the important items this safe is designed to protect. Also, despite the product description, it's not wide enough to fit a standard letter-size (8.5 inch) sheet of paper. x 11") lie flat. It's a waste of time and money.
