I don't normally buy aftermarket MAFs but this one had good reviews. I have an e39 528i touring that I bought for $500. I'm not ready to invest a lot of money in it yet. This is my work car and I just want it to run and drive properly. She had terrible mileage and an infamous brake problem. After several diagnostics, it turned out that the problem was in the MAF. Bought this little vacuum and problem solved. I've driven the new MAF about 300 miles and all is well. I can even light (burn out) 1 tire! I am happy.
