FUN FOR BEGINNERS!

Few things are more annoying than getting a toy home and learning that it requires batteries that aren't included. This fire truck requires 2 AAA batteries. Luckily, I have a metal cookie cutter with a small supply of every type of battery used in my house. This will save you a lot of hassles. You will also need a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I also keep one of them in a battery jar. One problem, however, is that 2-year-olds suck. chewing and drooling on their toys; So I'm not sure about putting batteries in this toy unless they are supervised. I think the little kid can have a lot of fun with this battery free set! I took out all the parts and put them together. I think if you are gifting this cute kit to a 2-4 year old, practice the connections well before packing. I really had to squirm and push the fire truck parts together. Plugs loosen with use. Wooden components simply stack on top of each other with no connectors - very easy to assemble and smash! Expand this fire department building set with the police building and ambulance sets for even more building fun. You may want to buy a small drawstring pouch to store all the details. A large ziplock bag will also suffice. So little beginners can take their designer with them to their grandparents. I can highly recommend this wooden building set for two-year-olds - even without batteries! This fire engine kit is perfect for this age group!
