This is a powerful bleach. In just two applications I became a movie star like sparkling white teeth. If you have a minor gum disease, it will sting a little, so have a damp paper towel on hand to repeatedly wipe the gel and blisters off your gums. If you're really sensitive, look for bleach with 22% potassium nitrate. Be careful when buying bleach during the summer months, especially in hot regions. Heat destroys peroxide bleach. Buy it when it's cold and keep it in the fridge for later use. We bought ours in May, with temperatures in the 80's.
