Review on Airtex AW5054 Engine Water Pump by Lex Ismael
As good as it gets from a longtime industry leader.
I sold Airtex water pumps for 15 years in the 70's and 80's. They were great back then and this pump was good by my standards. It is made in China and looks very high quality. I won't spend 4 hours fitting a part if I'm not sure, especially if it's my own car. The main feature was that the seal is packaged but separate from the pump. This helps minimize the chance of damaging this fragile component during transit.
